Meeting starts at 7:00PM (1900hrs). Come early to visit and order from menu. The public is always invited. Gary Alexander from the Medal of Honor Program will be speaking and selling tickets to the fish fry on Thursday night before the parade. |

We have been invited to display our HMVs alongside these majestic old warbirds (so far, at least B17, B24, and P51) out near the flightline while they conduct tours. Wed 4/4: 1200-1500; Thur 4/5: 0900-1500; Fri 4/6: 0900-1200. Bring your vehicles and knowledge about them to answer questions. |
| 11 - 14 Apr 12 | GAINESVILLE MEDAL OF HONOR WEEKEND - Gainesville, TX Saturday RRV event 4/14. 7th Annual Medal of Honor Weekend Parade, set for 10:00AM start. We need to be there and ready to line up beginning 08:00AM to 09:30AM for the 10 o'clock parade. We will be gathering for off-load around the ballpark off of Weaver Street, just south of the parade route beginning on California Street. Line-up will be at the Civic Center behind Braums. | 04 Jul 12 | INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE - Paris, TX. Wednesday event. Mid week this year. Local “4th of July” celebration / parade. There is no entry fee. Parade is scheduled to begin at 10AM, so RRV members participating should plan on being unloaded for line-up at the Lamar County Fairgrounds once again at 9AM for formal line-up by 9:30AM. Parade is well organized, so straggling is discouraged. Following the parade, RRV is once again invited to gather at the Dorries’ place north of Paris for some trail runs, and picnic / get together, etc. Place for some live small arms firing, good food and comradeship. |
